Theft of photos is something that really angers me. Bloggers seem to try to gain kudos by posting work that they just happen to have found on the web. Apart from anything elso, it's counterproductive: it discourages photographers from posting their work and puts potential models off the idea of posing. I've noted a serious decline in the number of people wanting to pose, and I'm increasingly seeing models ultimately decide not to, for fear of having photos of them spread all over the internet. It's a vicious circle, really. I love showing my work, but I increasingly feel I can't, so I end up working less... The only solution I've found for d

I have just had to store all my photos pending a decision on whether or not to remain on this site, having found out that some mal intentioned person had stolen at least five of my photos, Photoshopped out the logo and posted them on a blog, from where they've been reblogged... I feel very strongly about this, and I just don't understand the mentality that makes people think it's all right to use someone else's work like that. It's not fair to me and it's not fair to my models, and it's not fair to people who just like looking at the photos, as I've had to take them off display here and put password protection on my own website I'll decide

I'm back from holidays, but my computer doesn't seem to have got over its nervous breakdown, so I'm forced to work on my laptop, where I have only a small selection of photos, most of which I've already posted, and which doesn't have Photoshop, so I can't put my copyright on my postings. So while I know how unaesthetic it is, you'll have to bear with the dA watermark until I can start working normally again (when I'll replace all the appropriate files).
